Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate the XYZ Mill for manual and CNC (hybrid) machining tasks.
- Perform precision machining operations, adhering to quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any issues.
- Collaborate with the team to manage workloads.
- Carry out any self-inspection tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience in both manual and CNC (hybrid) machining is essential.
- Prior experience with XYZ Mills is highly desirable.
- Tool making experience is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Although strong machining and engineering experience is required, formal qualifications are not. This role will be paying around £14 an hour.
This is a full-time contract role, meaning 37 hours a week on a contract through FPR. FPR is acting as a Recruitment Business.
