Our clients based closed to Havant, have an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Engineer to join their growing team.


The Configuration Engineer will help deliver several improvements to the business such as; real time cost flow into quotes, elimination of errors caused by mis-aligned data, precise specification of bills of operations and ultimately an online configuration tool that could be exposed to distributors.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Implementation of the companys Driveworks Product Configurator and PDM population.

To work with external development organization as required to define architectures, code structures, product structures to elegantly integrate the systems to meet business objectives.

Controlling the accurate & timely administration of Product Data Management systems (Solidworks PDM).

The documentation of the systems overall design, the documentation & annotation of any code created to ensure knowledge and best practice is captured.

The communication of any Design Automation related issues & opportunities to management.

To carry out anyadditional responsibilities as may be considered necessary by the Management team.

Ensure that health and safety, with respect to our team & product provision to customers, is always considered.


Ideal skills & experience:

  • Proficient in Solidworks CAD
  • Proficient in Driveworks CAD Automation or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of best practice in CAD, PDM, Code creation
  • Proficient with Excel/VBA

Mon to Thurs 08:00-16:30. Fri 08:00-14:30
