IT Technician

Orion are proud to be partnered with a marketing leading manufacturer of high-end products servicing the marine sector with an ever-increasing product range. We now looking for a IT Technician to support, the user base and wider IT team across the business.

If you have experience in resolving 1st & 2nd line support and service desk incidents and requests,  the role of IT Technician could be an opportunity to grow your career with in this very well-established firm.

The role of IT Technician will be responsible for the following areas:

• Resolving 1st & 2nd line service desk incidents and requests
• Assist the EMEA InfoSec team in ensuring all vulnerabilities are patched in a timely manner
• Complete desktop/ laptop builds and configurations
• Engage and work with the wider EMEA IT Support team
• Make sure all urgent  issues or requests are highlighted to senior member of the team

We will be excited to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following skills for this IT Technician role:

• Two years experience working in an IT support environment
• Degree in Computer Networks or a similar field
• Ability to work effectively in a high paced and demanding environment
• Have an appreciation of virtualisation
• An awareness and interest in networking, routing, firewalls and client/server applications
• Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and M365
• Strong communication skills to interact with and engage key stakeholders
• Some travel may be required
