V3 are recruiting for a permanent warehouse manager for our client who are based in Havant









The business is based in Havant with purpose built warehousing and offices
We are now looking to recruit an additional person to be part of this and bring new practical skills to enhance the team.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility. The Warehouse Manager will ensure that goods are efficiently received, stored, and dispatched, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing warehouse staff, optimizing processes, and ensuring accurate inventory control.

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

oPlan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
oEnsure warehouse operations are conducted in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.
oEnsure that stock control systems are up-to-date and inventory levels are accurate.

Team Leadership

oLead, train, and motivate the warehouse team, allocate tasks, and manage daily workload distribution.
oEnsure the team follows safety regulations and warehouse policies.

Process Improvement

oContinuously evaluate processes and workflows for improvement opportunities.
oImplement lean warehouse techniques to optimise space, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
oCollaborate with the Purchasing team to streamline operations.

Health and Safety

oEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
oConduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
oTrain staff on proper handling of equipment, PPE usage, and emergency procedures.
Stock Control

oOversee stock control and monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or out of stock items.
oOversea monthly stocktake activities to ensure accuracy of records.
oInvestigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.

Reporting and Documentation

oMaintain accurate documentation of goods received, stored, and shipped.

The Warehouse Manager will need:-

Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
IT - sound working knowledge of Word & Excel and ability to learn internal systems.
Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, safety protocols and inventory control.
Previous experience using a Fork Lift.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects
