Sonic Summary

The position involves building high-end aviation seating switches and lighting products for major airlines such as Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, and British Airways.
Candidates are expected to have at least 2 years of experience in a production assembly environment and must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
The role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Soldering experience and familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100D standards are desirable but not mandatory.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

OverviewResponsible for building high end Aviation seating switches and lighting products for, Qantas, Etihad, Emirates and British Airways Airlines.

Roles and Responsibility

Building and Testing of products by following assembly drawing and build specifications.

Ensure all parts are fully working through out the assembly of the product and report any manufacturing and or design errors.

Ability to understand mechanical assembly drawings sent from Design Engineers (internally)

Ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a wider team (essential)

Ability to prioritise workload (essential)

Working within a fast paced environment (essential)

Attention to detail (essential)

Good communications and numerical skills; written and verbal (essential).

Previous experience of working within another production assembly environment (desirable)

Adhere to ISO9001 and AS9100D standards (desirable)

Soldering experience (desirable)

Worked in a quality assurance environment and ensuring the correct documentation is completed (desirable)
