Our client, a worldwide recognised brand, is looking to recruit a Social Media Manager to join the team based in Havant. You must be within commutable distance to this office as attendance will be required 3 days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reporting into the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, lead the development and execution of a cohesive global social media strategy aligned with the company’s brand vision, values, and business goals across key platforms including but not limited to Instagram/Facebook/TikTok/Pinterest/LinkedIn
  • Define each social channel’s target audience and tailor content strategies to reach and engage these segments effectively in line with business and brand strategy.
  • Work with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager to develop a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal and platform trends.
  • Work with internal Creative Team to oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content for all social media platforms (including video content and Reels)
  • Identify and build relationships with relevant content creators, influencers, brand ambassadors, and strategic competition/brand partners.
  • Manage content creator campaigns and collaborations to amplify brand reach and credibility.
  • Work closely with Paid Social & Affiliate channel owners to align on a joined-up strategy.
  • Foster and maintain a strong online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments, and addressing customer inquiries.
  • Work with external PR agency to devise, plan, and execute clear PR strategy including calendar of live press and influencer events.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance and use this insight to shape future ideas.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous social media marketing experience with bundles of creative ideas
  • A complete social native with an unrelieved passion for social media channels and an excellent understanding of the unique intricacies of each channel
  • Proven experience devising and executing brand social media & influencer strategy on time and within budget.
  • PR experience of how to bring brand and product messaging and initiatives to life through print, digital and live events.
  • Proven experience of content creation across social channels including Reels and videos and not afraid to get in front of the camera when required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects and prioritise workload, with excellent attention to detail.
  • An ability to analyse data to produce insight reports.
  • Strong team player, able to work cross-functionally & build internal & external relationships.
  • Excellent people management skills – able to lead a team and give direction with passion and enthusiasm.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week
