We have an exciting opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join a dynamic team based in Portsmouth and surrounding areas, providing a comprehensive gas service to domestic properties.

As an experienced Heating and Compliance firm, our client is committed to putting customers and clients at the heart of everything they do. Their services include professional gas installation, maintenance, servicing, and energy solutions, all delivered with a strong commitment to value-for-money services that make a positive difference to people and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and maintain domestic heating systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with specifications and gas safety regulations.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork efficiently.
  • Always ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
  • Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and callouts.
  • Adhere to operational procedures, safe working practices, and health & safety guidelines.
  • Report accidents, near-misses, or potential hazards.
  • Carry out all other maintenance work within the remit.
  • Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers.

Requirements

  • Relevant NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification.
  • ACS Qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
  • Unvented qualifications (desirable but not essential).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Knowledge of gas legislation and Health & Safety practices.
  • Strong time-management and workload-management skills.
  • Experience working with the public and providing excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach.
