Are you an experienced Test Technician looking for an exciting opportunity in the aerospace sector?

A globally renowned aerospace company is seeking test technicians to join their team. Our client is at the forefront of designing and manufacturing critical components and systems for commercial and military aircraft.

Responsibilities of a Test Technician:

  • As a Test Technician, your key duties will include:
  • Leading the requirements capture, design development, and implementation of test rigs, test stands, and fixtures.
  • Managing test equipment requests, including defining the scope of work and identifying resource needs.
  • Designing test rigs and fixtures (knowledge of Creo is preferred; training will be provided).
  • Supporting the Engineering Services Manager in ensuring test facility compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinating and overseeing subcontracted test rig and fixture designs, including factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, and rig handover.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, such as engineering proposals, performance specifications, technical reports, and papers, in line with company procedures.

Qualifications of a Test Technician:

  • Knowledge of aircraft fuel system components (preferred).
  • A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including structural component design and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Experience in the design of test rigs and fixtures.
  • Familiarity with test rig controls and instrumentation; awareness of LabVIEW is an advantage.
  • A working knowledge of ATEX regulations and associated equipment.

Shift Pattern: 6:00 am - 2:30 Mon - Thurs/ 6:00 - 11:00 on Friday
