Our client who specialises in managing electrical and mechanical projects, is looking for a candidate who has a general interest in engineering to join the team as a Project Coordinator to support the Project Management Team and if wanted, a chance to progress in the future into the PM team.

To be successful, you must have an ability to understand technical drawings on CAD, ability to deal with customers and suppliers, maintaining relationships and make sure all information is present for the coordination of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage project schedules, collecting and sharing key information to help our engineers work efficiently.
  • Handle multiple projects at once.
  • Organise and oversee project activities, working with other departments and contractors.
  • Regularly follow up with customers and suppliers to keep everyone informed and manage expectations.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous project coordinator experience 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office and CAD.
  • Proficiency in planning and tracking progress.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills
  • Great organisational skills
