As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting students' learning, helping to regulate their behavior, and creating a safe environment conducive to growth.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with young people with SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and shared interests such as sports, gaming, music, fitness, the outdoors, horse riding, or sailing.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable)
GCSES: English & Maths
Minimum 1 year working with children
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willingness to complete)

Eligibility:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
