We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Keyworker to join the school on a full-time basis, with the potential for a permanent role following a successful probation period.

About the Role:

As a SEN Keyworker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You’ll be working closely with teaching staff, the SENCO, and parents/carers to create and implement tailored support strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs
  • Assist in the development of personalised learning and behaviour plans
  • Build positive relationships with students, encouraging engagement and progress
  • Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people with SEN (in education, care, or support settings)
  • Demonstrate a caring and patient approach, with excellent communication skills
  • Be proactive, resilient, and passionate about making a difference
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
