Experienced Azure Platform Engineer

£65-70,000 + bonus + 15% pension

Hampshire, 3 days on site

A well-known utilities organisation in Hampshire are undergoing a major cloud migration to Microsoft Azure, to improve the service offered to their growing client base.

As the first permanent Azure Engineer to join the platform team, you will be working alongside the development team on greenfield projects, as well as supporting the Azure migration and day to day infrastructure maintenance.

Day to day you will be:

  • Migrating existing infrastructure services to Azure & managing the Azure platform
  • Support various solution deployments, across networking, architecture and security
  • Utilising IaC to increase efficiency & reliability
  • Advising on best practice, mentoring others where necessary

You must have:

  • 3-4 years (+) of hands on Azure experience - ideally designing & deploying in a migration
  • Azure DevOps experience, including use of Git, Terraform, Jenkins & Ansible
  • A broad understanding across IT infrastructure - security, data, networking
