We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Travel Coordinator on a PART TIME basis (16hours per week) to manage national and international travel arrangements. This role involves booking flights, hotels, trains, and taxis while ensuring cost-effective and seamless travel experiences. Additionally, the Travel Coordinator will provide administrative support and occasional reception cover.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Travel Coordinator role are:

  • Arrange and manage business travel, including flights, hotels, trains, and taxis.

  • Ensure all travel bookings comply with company budgets and policies.

  • Monitor travel plans, addressing any cancellations or rescheduling needs.

  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all bookings and expenses.

  • Liaise with employees to understand and fulfil their travel requirements.

  • Support in negotiating corporate rates with travel providers.

  • Assist with administrative tasks related to travel coordination.

  • Provide reception cover when required, welcoming visitors and handling incoming calls.

  • Align with the company's social and environmental mission, championing sustainability initiatives where applicable.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Travel Coordinator role is someone with the following:

  • Previous experience in travel booking, administration, or coordination.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage last-minute changes and work effectively under pressure.
