This role is central to their warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and prepared for shipping with utmost accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Picking: Accurately picking products according to order specifications and preparing them for shipment
- Packaging: Packing items into boxes or containers efficiently to ensure safe delivery
- Put away: Assisting with the distribution of goods to their correct storage locations
- Inventory Management: Keeping track of inventory levels and reporting discrepancies or low stock levels, including involvement in cycle counting and stock takes
- Quality Control: Ensuring that the picked items are correct and undamaged before shipping
- Equipment Operation: Using equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pump ups, and other machinery to move products within the warehouse
- Workplace Safety: Adhering to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Job Requirements:
- Experience in a warehouse or order picking role
- Forklift truck experience and a valid licence
- Experience using either a counterbalance, order picker, or narrow aisle forklift
- Capability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail to prevent errors in orders
- Good verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
- Basic arithmetic skills for performing basic operations

Rates & Hours:
- 37.5 hour week
- (Apply online only) Mon - Thurs, (Apply online only) Fri
- 25 days per holiday plus Bank Holidays (maybe required to work Bank holidays if month end)
- 11.44/h - 11.68h/ (approx. 23,000 salary)
