Finance Assistant/ Assistant AccountantPermanent and Full-timePembrokeshire£28-32,500 per annum, with study supportThis is a great opportunity for a dynamic and progressive individual with plenty of initiative! Joining a small but effective team in an office on the outskirts of Haverfordwest; you will be a key member of the finance department. Providing support to the Financial Controller and the wider business, you will be AAT qualified or an active ACCA/AAT studier. Support for further study is available. This role will see you working with all aspects of transactional finance; accounts payable and receivable, managing petty cash/company credit cards and bank reconciliations. You will also get the chance to assist with the preparation of management accounts (journals, prepayments and accruals) and Payroll.This is an amazing opportunity for someone with some exposure to finance to advance their skills in a commercial and fast-paced but supportive environment. This role could be the one to take you from an accounts assistant to an assistant accountant, as it will give you exposure to higher level financial functions in an assistant role...... with the potential to fly solo in the future! You will need good exposure to finance; either in an industry, public sector or accountancy practice environment. This role is not entry level, but it will suit someone looking to progress and grow their skills.
