HGV Class 1 Drivers - TrampingHaverfordwest4 on 4 off£14:00- £16.75 per hour (day and night rate) - £25 night out
24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client that we are representing in the Haverfordwest area on an ongoing basis, potienally temp to perm, for the right candidate. We are looking for experienced and reliable drivers, who are available for assessment and induction immediately. This role will involve you delivering directly to stores across the UK.
The position of HGV Class 1 Driver involves:
- Making deliveries and collections to and from businesses
- Planning route on a day to day basis.
- Ensuring deliveries and collections are made on time
- Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
- Working closely with the network hubs.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers expectations.
Essential skills for Class 1 Day Driver:
- Must have a UK Class 1 Driving Licence.
- Hold a current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
