Overview:An exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Packing Supervisor to join a dynamic production team.
This role is essential in ensuring packing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely — delivering quality results every time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support packing line operatives
- Plan and manage staff rotas to ensure full coverage
- Liaise with dispatch teams to meet daily requirements
- Maintain high hygiene, health & safety, and food quality standards
- Assist with production admin tasks and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity and waste reduction
- Provide training and support for team development
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production or packing environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and health & safety regulations
- Excellent team leadership and communication skills
- Good IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Organised, proactive, and detail-focused
Desirable:
- ILM/NVQ in Management or equivalent experience
- Background in production and dispatch planning
