We put customers at the heart of our business, creating value through strong, long-term partnerships.We are now looking for a Technical Support Assistant to join us on a full-time, temporary basis for a 6-month contract at our Haverfordwest Creamery.The Benefits- Salary up to £23,569- 34 days’ holiday including public Bank Holidays- PensionThis is a unique opportunity for a science-focused individual to join our organisation at Haverfordwest and gain hands-on experience in quality assurance.In this role, you will be at the forefront of upholding our quality standards as we continue to produce award-winning cheeses and dairy products.What’s more our collaborative and supportive team will help you grow personally and professionally, adding to your experience portfolio which will enable you to become a key figure at First Milk.The RoleAs a Technical Support Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support within our Technical Department, assisting in maintaining high standards across our Haverfordwest site.Supporting the Technical Team, you’ll ensure Certificates of Analysis are completed accurately, manage cheese release processes under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, and handle stock counts and salvage disposal.Additionally, you will:- Review and evaluate critical production paperwork- Conduct regular Good Manufacturing Practice Audits with the Quality Systems Manager- Provide general administrative assistance to the Site Team as requiredAbout YouTo be considered as our Technical Support Assistant, you will need:- Completed education in science, chemistry, biology, or physics, or relevant work experience in a quality assurance or technical role within manufacturing- Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages- Strong multitasking abilities and the capability to remain calm under pressure- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Solid numerical skills and a keen eye for detailThe closing date for this role is Friday 15 November 2024.Other organisations may call this role Quality Assurance Assistant, Technical Administrator, or QA Support Assistant.Webrecruit and First Milk are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
