Ready to make a difference?The RoleAs the Health and Safety Manager, you will be driving the correct culture to make sure people go about their day job safely and go home to their families. If you're passionate about shaping and driving a strong health and safety culture, this role provides the perfect opportunity to make a real impact.For the key aspects of this role, you will control the Health and Safety site compliance with regulatory and industry obligations, leading performance metrics, and implementing risk reduction programmes.The position involves handling major compliance incidents, liaising with government and regulatory bodies. Additionally, it includes developing and maintaining site management systems, procedures, and audit programmes to minimise risks and ensure ongoing compliance with legislative requirements.About you
These qualifications aren't a necessity but would be very beneficial to have.
- Solid experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- You will need a proven experience in delivering certified training programmes, strong leadership and presentation skills, and have the ability to influence at all levels.
- IOSH membership, with Chartered status (CMIOSH) or the ability to achieve it.
