We are urgently seeking a Receptionist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the first point of contact for our business and play a key role in ensuring smooth communication and administrative efficiency. The position offers working hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with consideration given to job sharing. Salary is approximately £25k, pro-rata based on hours worked.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors, clients, and suppliers, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Ensure visitors sign in, receive badges, and are directed to the correct department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly, taking messages as required.
  • Manage email correspondence and distribute information appropriately.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, booking meeting rooms, and organizing refreshments.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, printing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Provide administrative support to managers and various departments across the business.
  • Oversee deliveries, ensuring goods are signed for and routed to the correct area.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management in line with the role.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Administrative experience with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
