We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our client based in Haverhill. This would be a permanent position working Monday to Friday and they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Main Duties
- Create 3D CAD models and 2D production drawings.
- Develop CAM programs for machine centres.
- Generate route cards and bills of materials.
- Provide technical support to customers, sales team, and production.
- Assist in sales efforts by creating visuals and approval drawings.
The Successful Candidate
- Proven experience in CAD design and CAM programming
- Previous experience working with sheet metal (Desirable)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
