Our client, a well-established pallet distribution company, is expanding its operations and is seeking aGeneral Managerto lead its new production warehouse in Haverhill, Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity for aGeneral Managerto build and develop a high-performing team while driving operational excellence at a brand-new site.

• AsGeneral Manager, establish and oversee the operational framework for the new warehouse, ensuring readiness for automation planned for summer 2025.

• Recruit, lead, and develop a strong team to support operational success and business growth.

• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity in production.

• Report directly to senior leadership, providing updates on performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.

• Work closely with other departments to maintain a smooth and effective workflow.

• Previous experience as aGeneral Manageror senior operations leader in a warehouse or distribution setting.

• Background in production, transport, or sales is beneficial.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Ability to foster a positive team culture and align with company values.
