We have an exciting opportunity based in Haverhill, Suffolk for a full time stock controller. You will be located in a busy warehouse environment.

You will need a full UK driving licence.

£13.00 per hour PAYE.

Our Client is expanding very quickly and this is a great time to come on board!

This is a Monday to Friday position working from 8am until 5.30pm.

Duties include

  • Ensure that all inventory items are stored in the right locations, repaired and available in good condition for despatch so that warehouse staff can pick and assemble orders efficiently.
  • Establish, execute and review an inventory audit plan that allows the company to assess accurately the quantity and value of stock on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor all stock (parts, products, components, equipment and machinery) so that inventory for hire can be properly picked and packed for delivery.
  • Adhere to routines that allow warehouse staff to detect, repair and replace damaged, faulty and obsolete parts, products, components, equipment and machinery so that the warehouse has enough supplies to fulfil all orders in a timely and efficient way.
  • Purchasing sourcing suppliers and prices and producing purchase orders.
  • Support warehouse staff by advising them about standard operating procedures as they relate to dealing with damaged and missing returns, warehouse locations and proper storage of inventory.
