Primary School Supply Teacher

£140 - £150 a day

We are currently working with primary schools in and around the Haverhill area who are looking for a reliable supply teacher to cover all primary key stages in times of sickness, PPA and training. You will be part of a team providing a wide range of stimulating activities, taught through an engaging curriculum, catering for children of all abilities. The schools are varied in terms of size and intake and all strive to offer a calm and friendly atmosphere throughout, created by a dedicated and professional staff and children who are motivated and happy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Motivate and inspire young learners
  • Track student progress and collaborate with parents
  • Safeguard children and manage disruptive behaviour

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential
  • Engaging and interactive teaching style
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
