Junior Finance Assistant
Haverhill
£22,000-£26000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Haverhill based position for an enthusiastic and career motivated individual to join the existing small finance team in the role of Finance Assistant.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role will start with transactional duties (accounts payable and receivable tasks) and in time, will evolve to see the post holder taking increased responsibility and looking after more complex tasks.
Duties to include:
- Assisting with processing purchase ledger invoices
- Supporting month end process
- Preparation, management and payment of expenses and car fuel system
- Car fleet administration and associated finance duties
- Support during annual audit
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Assist with rebates
- Manage Direct Debit invoices,
- Reconcile supplier accounts
This client is ideally looking for somebody with some existing accounts experience, and who is studying for the AAT qualification, however will also consider recent graduates looking for their first accounting position.
Candidates should have a good grasp of Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as excellent communication skills and a willing, professional and flexible attitude.
