We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic school team in Haverhill. This role is ideal for candidates who demonstrate a strong classroom presence and are looking for a temporary position with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, supporting students and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher.
- Ensure the classroom environment remains safe and conducive to learning.
- Engage students with the material provided by the teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Maintain a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Report back on the day’s activities as required by school protocol.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to adhere to and enforce school policies and procedures.
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
