My client is looking for a welder fabricator with MIG experienceThe role is to fabricate, weld, manufacture parts to a drawing ensuring all aspects of thespecifications on the drawing are met and the quality of their work is to the level as per companystandards.Responsabilites:

  • Perform welding duties using a Mig welding M/c.
  • Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified on engineering drawings, using WPS specifications & weld plans
  • Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products.
  • Work with fitters or fitters/welders to assist in the fabrication or welding of multi-component parts.
  • Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job's needs.
  • Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
  • Referencing drawing weld specs and weld Plans and standards as issued by the RWC as per EN 1090
  • Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders.
  • Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.
  • Inspect equipment to maintain functional equipment if any equipment needs repairs notify supervisor/lead or maintenance department.
  • Perform a variety of complicated tasks, as required.
  • Be coded, tested to ISO EN 96061 as per Std EN 1090
  • Ensuring all products made are identified in line with EN1090.

  • Standard working hours 38
  • Over time - Saturday +5£ per hour
  • Over time - Sunday double pay
