Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Our teaching agency is currently seeking a creative and organised Art Technician to join a vibrant secondary school in Havering. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for the arts to support the smooth running of the Art department, starting immediately.
About the Role:As an Art Technician, you will play a vital role in providing technical support to the Art department. You will assist in the preparation of materials and resources for lessons, ensure the art studios are well-maintained, and support both teachers and students in creating an inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for art lessons
- Assisting with the setup of practical lessons and demonstrations
- Maintaining and organising art supplies, ensuring stock levels are managed
- Ensuring the art studio and equipment are clean, safe, and ready for use
- Assisting students and teachers during practical sessions
- Supporting with displays of student artwork around the school
- Managing and maintaining specialist art equipment such as kilns, printing presses, and other technical tools

- Previous experience as an Art Technician or within a similar role

- A DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply)
