Daily Supply Primary School Teacher – Havering (ASAP Start)

Are you a flexible and enthusiastic primary school teacher looking for immediate work? We are currently seeking experienced and adaptable supply teachers to join our team, providing cover at various primary schools across Havering. Location: Havering, Greater London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary, Day-to-Day Supply

About the Role:

As a daily supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a range of primary schools across Havering, offering you variety and the chance to experience different school settings. You’ll be stepping in to cover classes, ensuring that lessons are delivered smoothly and students continue to receive high-quality education in the absence of their regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups, ensuring continuity in students' learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Adapt to different school settings and requirements, quickly building rapport with students and staff.
  • Mark and assess students’ work as required, providing feedback in line with school policies.
  • Follow the schools' safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in primary schools.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to quickly adjust to new classroom environments.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and positive approach.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
