Maths Teacher

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving school in Havering. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is committed to delivering high-quality maths education to students of all abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitably qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
• Inspire students to develop a love for mathematics and support them in achieving their academic goals.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to the school's extra-curricular activities and participate in professional development.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and experience teaching at secondary level.
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of students.
