Science Teacher

The Role
An excellent opportunity has opened up for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive school in Havering. We are seeking a committed educator who can deliver engaging science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. This role offers the chance to inspire the next generation of scientists and make a real impact on students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective science lessons in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to a wide range of abilities.
• Encourage a passion for science through innovative teaching methods and hands-on experiments.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with the science department to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
• Participate in the school's extra-curricular programs and professional development opportunities.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in science, with experience teaching at secondary level.
• Ability to differentiate lessons and support diverse learners.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a passion for education.
• A commitment to promoting the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
