About the Role

Ideally we are seeking a passionate, understanding, empathetic and enthusiastic KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join this supportive and dynamic role. This is an exciting opportunity to work 1:1 with students in KS1 with ASD helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support for students with ASD needs, both in and outside the classroom
  • Assist in the development and implementation of EHCPs
  • Building and Maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment for KS1 SEN children's development
  • Collaborating with staff to ensure the child's progress and wellbeing

Requirements

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Previous Experience working with ASD (Desirable but not essential)
  • TA experience (Willing to work with graduates)
  • Flexibility to adapt to individual needs of Autism
  • Relevant Qualifications in education (Desirable but not essential)
