- To carry out individual care as per Service User’s care plans.
- To continuously assess and monitor the "dependency" of Service Users.
- To assess, implement & evaluate Service User’s care plans, risk management assessment and other assessment tools
- To promote confidentiality.
- To establish and maintain good relationships between Service Users, relatives and staff.
- To participate in the Service Users’ activity programme.
- To administer and control drugs and medications as per the Company Policy, NMC and Health Authority guidelines.
- To undertake direct nursing care as necessary.
- To adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures and to ensure subordinates are fully conversant with them.
- To allocate duties and tasks to Care Staff.
- To supervise the service of food and drinks to Service Users.
- To improve and update professional knowledge.
- To assist with training of all staff in the clinical area.
- To carry out other duties as well, from time to time, as directed.
- To carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard to the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, Service Users and other persons.
