What the role entails

• Support a well invested, fast paced food manufacturing site with 1st line maintenance of process and  by carrying out reactive, proactive, and servicing activities
• Utilizes CMMS systems and reporting suites.
• Drive projects including non- capex modifications, capex, and continuous improvement including throughput and OEE initiatives.

Equipment includes - Milk pasteurisation, homogenisers, separators process systems, filers, cartoners, cappers, packers, weighers, flow wrappers, shrink, wrappers, trolley packers. Palletisers, de-palletisers, conveyor lines (chain, spiral), robots (Kuka), vision systems, Spectrum TX rejection system, Xray checkers, industrial dryers, refrigerated rooms, steam generators, water softeners, cooling towers, CHP system Air handing units, HVAC, water treatment, steam boilers, chillers, compressors

The person

• Ambition & drive
• Experience as a multiskilled engineer (shift engineer/ maintenance engineer/ engineering technician) and the likes either mechanically / electrically or true multiskilled.
• Time served/ NVQ Level 3/ HNC qualified or proven experience with fast paced manufacturing environment
• Ideally you will have experience with fast- moving machinery, pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, PLC’s (Siemens), Site Services (steam generation plant, chilled water systems, compressors, processes), CIP systems (chemical cleaning plant)
• Computer literate – SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMI’S
