- An HGV 1 license is preferable, and working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, with alternate Saturdays from 07:00 to 12:00, paid at an overtime rate of 1.5x.
- The salary for this position starts at £39,250 and above.
HGV Technician required to work in a busy Trailer/HGV workshop, previous experience is essential.
Duties:
Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of trailers, HGV's and LCV's
Required Certification & Experience:
* Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation & Trailer and Vehicle diagnostics.
* Experience with DAF vehicles would be beneficial as would a sound knowledge of LCV Maintenance and Repair procedures.
* Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable.
* HGV 1 licence is preferable but not essential.
* City and Guilds / NVQ L3 in HGV Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Time served Technician.
Hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18.00 with alternate Saturday 07.00 - 12.00 paid as 1.5x overtime rate.
