The Role:

Work in a Secure Children's Home in a nationwide resource providing both secure and open facilities for young people aged between 10 and 17. Our primary function is to offer protection to young people when they are in crisis and provide a support pathway for the future.

We are currently recruiting for Secure Care Workers who will be responsible for providing outstanding care to the children and young people, treating them with compassion and respect. Whilst the successful candidate will cover the full remit of the role, there will be an expectation for the post holder to have a primary focus on either 'intervention work' or 'activity work' with our young people.

You will provide essential support to our young people by helping them gain the best outcome; you will support with education, health, independence and build their self-confidence. As a Secure Care Worker, you must be optimistic and passionate about the care you provide and difference you strive to make and considerate of the struggles they face. The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. Our young people are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such.
