Cedar have partnered with a growing logistics company that specialises in e-commerce and supply chain solutions, helping businesses optimise operations and drive efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant with excellent D365 experience to take on a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and business support. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial data, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to process improvements.
Duties
- Month-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals
- Sales and purchase order matching, intercompany reporting
- Group reporting in Cognos (monthly, quarterly, and yearly)
- Ensuring accuracy of general ledger entries and maintaining trial balances
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting the annual audit with schedules and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
- Cost management and variance analysis
- Supporting budget and forecast preparation
- Assisting in process improvements and system enhancements
Person Specification
- Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA
- Experience with D365 accounting software (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
- Excellent Excel skills: Power BI experience is an advantage
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
- Hands-on, problem-solving attitude
