Air Import Coordinator

Position: Air Import Coordinator
Location: Hayes
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30
Salary: Up to 30,000

We are recruiting for an Air Freight Import Operator for our client based in Hayes. The ideal candidate will be fully conversant in all aspects of Air Import operations and have a strong customs background, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation of goods from origin to destination. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to offer top class customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities as an Air Import Coordinator:

• Coordinate and manage the shipment of goods via air freight
• Booking with Origin/Destination
• Customs clearance formalities
• Track and update delivery statuses in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
• Job invoicing and costing
• Prepare, track, and manage all documentation related to freight shipments, air waybills, customs declarations and invoices
• Prepare and submit customs clearances
• Ensure compliance with international sipping regulations.
• Maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise air freight processes and improve service delivery

Requirements:

• Experience with a UK freight forwarder in air freight
• Experience with end to end freight forwarding operations
• Customs experience
• The ability to problem solve and work effectively in a fast-paced environment and working to tight deadlines
