As part of my clients’ expansion they are seeking an experienced Duty Operations Manager to join this growing group travel company who provide trips for tourists for day trips and short breaks using their own fleet of vehicles. The role is based near Heathrow,

Ideally seeking a person with a CPC licence although this is not essential and has experience of managing vehicles and ensuring the logistics work on time.

The responsibilities will include:-

  • Ensuring Drivers report for duty on time
  • Purchase uniforms on behalf of new and existing drivers
  • Ensure Drivers are fully conversant with their work schedule and know their route
  • Monitor work performance
  • Follow up on late pick ups, complaints etc
  • Liaise regarding day to day vehicle maintenance issues with the engineering depart.
  • Build strong relationships with clients
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • People Management and Project Management
  • Produce timetables and schedules

This is a busy and diverse roles working Monday to Friday and occasionally over weekends when required.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar environment or could be a Coach Driver who would like a change in direction who has excellent IT skills and the ability to manage the operation. Ideal candidates will have experience working for travel industry, coach companies, bus companies etc.
