With a strong international network and a reputation for service excellence, they are now looking to grow their UK sales team by hiring a driven and experienced Business Development Executive to focus on bringing in new business.

Role Overview:

This is a pure new business sales role, ideal for someone with a proven track record in freight forwarding sales. You will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and converting new clients, offering full freight solutions tailored to their logistics needs. Youll have access to a competitive product range, operational support, and a brand that opens doors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple sectors
  • Sell freight forwarding services (air, sea, road, warehousing) to importers/exporters
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Prepare and present bespoke proposals and pricing structures
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets

What Were Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in freight forwarding (air, sea, or road)
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to close deals
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider commercial team
  • UK driving license and willingness to travel for client meetings (if applicable)
