Account Manager

Account Manager is the primary point of contact for customer MRO contracts, ensuring seamless contract management, commercial decision-making, and customer relationship management.

They are responsible for monitoring and recalculating long-term MRO contracts, setting performance targets, initiating contract amendments, and leading re-negotiations.

The Account Manager will drive profitability through new business quotes, upselling opportunities, and ensuring timely revenue collection.

Key responsibilities include resolving contractual disputes, acting as the main contact for customer escalations, and serving as a Customer Ambassador to ensure high levels of satisfaction in very challenging MRO business.

The Account Manager will also analyse and report on contractual KPIs, organise performance meetings, and provide detailed insights and recommendations internally.

The role requires a focus on securing and increasing contract profitability, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities Contract Management:

  • Own Customer contracts and serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries internally.
  • Recalculate long-term contracts and set performance targets on a regular basis.
  • Initiate contract amendments and lead contract re-negotiations where required or possible.

路 Resolve all contractual disputes and disagreements promptly and effectively. Commercial Management:

  • Make commercial decisions for events or customer contracts within approved authorisation limits
  • Create new business quotes for contracted customers and capability inquiries, focusing on upselling opportunities.
  • Influence and sell solutions to contracted customers, driving profitability growth.
  • Approve customer invoices and ensure all expected revenues are received within business expectation targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Act as the main point of contact for customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.

路 Serve as a Customer Ambassador and Satisfaction Manager, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Performance Reporting:

路 Create, review, and analyse contractual KPIs, including financial and customer satisfaction performance measures.

  • Secure and increase contract profitability, making necessary adjustments to meet financial targets.
  • Be responsible for the continuous improvement of the product, ensuring it meets market demands and customer expectations.

Team Leadership:

  • Act as a Team Influencer and Mentor, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in account management, preferably in the aerospace or aviation industry.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, financial performance measures, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
