You will work to "AS" accreditation standards and have the ability to self-inspect your work to ensure compliance with the highest quality requirements.Key Responsibilities:* Set and operate Matsuura CNC milling machines.* Machine high-precision components for Aerospace and Defence applications.* Work with 5 axis Matsuura machining centres with Fanuc Controls* Ensure all work meets "AS" accreditation and company quality standards.* Self-inspect machined parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with technical drawings.* Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to optimise machining processes and achieve maximum efficiency.Essential Skills and Experience:* Proven experience as a CNC Miller, with the ability to set and operate CNC milling machines.* Proficiency in setting and operating Matsuura CNC machines.* Strong understanding of "AS" accreditation and quality control requirements.* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.* Experience in 3-axis CNC milling (5-axis experience would be advantageous).* Ability to work independently, with a high level of precision and attention to detail.Desirable Skills:* Previous experience in Aerospace or Defence industries.* Knowledge of continuous improvement practices in machining environments.
