  • Support the Head of Billing and Credit Control to manage a medium-sized Credit Control Team
  • Manage and optimise the teams' performance to meet or exceed key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by management
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and mentorship, and offer constructive feedback to support team members' professional growth
  • Minimise risk and write-offs by effectively managing collection and/or debt management activity
  • To analyse customer accounts for their suitability for proceeding with legal action
  • Manage and oversee the legal process
  • Ensure our credit control systems remain up to date and accurately reflect activity
  • To coordinate and liaise with branches ensuring they are kept up to date with all legal cases
  • Provide management with information on collection and debt management activities
  • Processing all payment types received from customers, and any other Data Entry that is needed, concerning legal accounts
  • Dealing with all Insolvency, Administration, Liquidation and Receivership cases
  • Handle escalated credit control issues and liaise with clients and stakeholders on credit matters
  • Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and improve resolution timeframes
  • Support the Head of Billing and Credit Control with process changes to improve procedures within the O2C functions
  • Assist with and prepare credit control reports for the management team.
  • Provide training and mentorship for members of the team.
  • Assist in any other ad-hoc duties

What you'll need to succeedYou will be a highly experienced credit specialist with excellent knowledge and experience of the litigation processes. You will also have supervised a small team of credit controllers in the past. Advanced Excel for reporting is essential. Whilst industry experience is desirable, it is not essential, so will consider all similar service related backgrounds.What you'll get in returnThis is a great role for a credit control supervisor with litigation experience to step up into a new challenge.
