Calibration Technician – Specialist Equipment
NEOS are searching for a skilled Calibration Technician to join our clients Plant team. This crucial role ensures that all specialist tools and machinery remain in top condition, supporting safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, calibrate, and maintain a variety of specialist equipment, including:
- Cable Detection Tools (CAT & Gennys)
- Butt Fusion Machines
- Gas Monitors
- Harnesses
- Perform routine servicing and minor repairs
- Ensure all equipment meets industry safety and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate logs of inspections, calibrations, and certifications
- Collaborate with the equipment management team to ensure availability and reliability
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance as required
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail with a systematic approach to maintenance and fault diagnosis
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification (preferred)
- Basic electronic knowledge is beneficial
- Familiarity with plant hire operations is advantageous but not essential
- Proactive and team-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate across different teams
- Full UK driving licence (clean) is required
