Calibration Technician – Specialist Equipment

NEOS are searching for a skilled Calibration Technician to join our clients Plant team. This crucial role ensures that all specialist tools and machinery remain in top condition, supporting safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, calibrate, and maintain a variety of specialist equipment, including:
    • Cable Detection Tools (CAT & Gennys)
    • Butt Fusion Machines
    • Gas Monitors
    • Harnesses
  • Perform routine servicing and minor repairs
  • Ensure all equipment meets industry safety and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate logs of inspections, calibrations, and certifications
  • Collaborate with the equipment management team to ensure availability and reliability
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance as required

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail with a systematic approach to maintenance and fault diagnosis
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification (preferred)
  • Basic electronic knowledge is beneficial
  • Familiarity with plant hire operations is advantageous but not essential
  • Proactive and team-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate across different teams
  • Full UK driving licence (clean) is required
