Mane are a leading and award-winning designer and manufacturer of street furniture, signage, smart city street furniture and electronic digital signage. The company offers great career opportunities for a driven Streetworks Electrician looking to work in an active and rewarding sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. The role is based at the company's manufacturing & technology centre in Hayes, Middlesex, where the post holder will be responsible for the management and coordination of all on-street multi-site electrical activities undertaken by the company's electrical operatives.

These works include electrical testing, inspecting & commissioning, condition reporting, and reactive electrical repair works, delivered across a wide range of award-winning street furniture assets throughout Greater London. The successful candidate will be joining a small friendly team, working closely with a variety of skilled and experienced office-based staff, and on-street electricians. This is an ideal opportunity for those with project management experience, looking to progress in their career.

Responsibilities & Duties

Your main responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Manage a small team of highway electricians and electrical contractors.
  • Monitor productivity, performance, and competency.
  • Monitor and manage work against program requirements, ensuring works are completed on time.
  • Oversee the completion of electrical orders and monitor performance against KPIs.
  • Activity manage on-street operational compliance of electrical operations.
  • Ensure activities are completed in accordance with the SSoW, driving a strong H&S workforce culture.
  • Provide advice and support to highway electricians on daily activities.
  • Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with the company's NICEIC & NERS accreditation.
  • Understand the electrical requirements of several different asset types.
  • Undertake site visits to monitor works in accordance with the regulations and legislation.
  • Adapt to accommodate ad-hoc project requirements.


You should be someone who:

  • A driven and accountable person able to drive operational performance.
  • Excellent communication skills in person, and via email and phone.
  • Team player who can build strong interpersonal relations with colleagues and in-house departments.
  • Understands the business' targets and KPI and demonstrates drive and determination to perform.
  • Computer literate and competent with MS Office package.


Qualifications and Experience

  • 2+ years' experience in a project management role.
  • Previous experience with street lighting or electrical works on the highway (preferable)
  • Strong personal management skills.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of (valuable);

o 2391-52 Level 3 Award - Electrical Inspection & Testing
o Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
o G39 + 214 Safe Isolation

  • Current valid driving license
