Mane are a leading and award-winning designer and manufacturer of street furniture, signage, smart city street furniture and electronic digital signage. The company offers great career opportunities for a driven Streetworks Electrician looking to work in an active and rewarding sector.

Based at the company's Head Office in Hayes, Middlesex, the Streetworks Electrician will be responsible for the electrical installation and maintenance of a wide range of street furniture assets throughout Greater London.

The successful candidate will be joining a small friendly team and work closely with a variety of highly skilled and experienced managers, who will provide employees with the drive to succeed the opportunity for career progression in the organisation.

Responsibilities & Duties

Your main responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Installation of Street Furniture
  • Undertaking electrical connections to new street furniture installations
  • Installing a variety of new electrical equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing reactive maintenance faults


Accreditation

  • Carrying out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the companies NICEIC accreditation
  • Completing minor works and installation certificates upon completion of electrical installation or alteration
  • Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on street furniture assets


Operating Machinery

  • Operating relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner


Quality Control and Continuous Improvement

  • Ensuring compliance to all electrical standards and procedures.
  • Ensuring quality of workmanship and company quality control systems are adhered to.
  • Maintaining a high standard and quality of work.


You should be someone who:

  • Has good communication skills, both in person, and via emails / messages / photos, and basic completion of forms.
  • Is a good team player, who treats everyone with respect, and can build strong working relationships with colleagues and management.
  • Has good attention to detail and recognises the importance of good quality workmanship.
  • Understands team targets and support others in achieving them.
  • Acts on various methods and strategies for sorting problems and meeting objectives.
  • Reports any unsafe working practices whilst promoting a safe working practice and environment.
  • Is eager to increase their job knowledge and develop skills in the role.


Qualifications and Experience

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role
  • 2391-52 Level 3 Award - Electrical Inspection & Testing
  • Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
  • G39 + 214 Safe Isolation
  • Current valid driving licence
