JGA are partnered with a leading international business that are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to head up their payroll function for their hourly paid employees.
  
You will enjoy 1 day working from home per week, and the chance to build a strong payroll function.   
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administered accurate and timely weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with deadlines and UK legislation.
  • Collaborated with HR and Finance teams to implement payroll changes, maintain accurate staff cost records, and address employee queries confidentially.
  • Managed year-end procedures, including preparing and distributing reports such as P11Ds, P60s, and month/year-end documentation.
  • Developed and maintained a Payroll Operating Manual and trained colleagues to ensure consistent payroll process coverage.
  • Monitored and improved the accuracy of Time and Attendance data in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Coordinated with international payroll agencies and EMEA Finance teams to ensure compliance with regional reporting requirements.
  • Oversaw pension auto-enrolment compliance, advised on legislative changes, and implemented updated processes.
  • Organized employee communications, including individual pension meetings and seminars, to inform and guide contribution options.
Skills Required:
  • Significant experience processing hourly paid payroll.
  • Experience in a sole role and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong T&A systems knowledge.
  • UK and International payroll experience.
