Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Build Technician within the Build department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.
This Build Technician position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role you will be sealing and marking components prior to painting.
Role Responsibilities will include:
- The assembly of mechanical components and Installation of Hydraulic and Electrical systems to aircraft undercarriages and associated hardware.
- Assembly being conducted in line with all OEM, legislative, and Industry requirements providing right first time, quality primary structural aircraft products.
- Management of consumable items
- Ensuring the correct functioning of the quality infrastructure
- Inspection/duplicate inspection of completed assemblies/sub-assemblies.
Skills and Experience required:
- Occasional heavy lifting required
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Extensive experience working in Aerospace related environment
- Extensive experience of assembly of components.
- Quality conscious.

Double day shift Monday to Friday one week of 6am to 2pm and one week of 2pm to 10pm shifts, alternating.
