Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Time Critical Delivery Agent to work a permanent Monday - Friday 6.30pm - 3am shift. The company are a major Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.
This role demands precision and dedication to ensure procedures are followed seamlessly. Answering calls with a professional touch, taking client orders with expertise, and keeping clients informed on every detail, you'll be the linchpin in maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities:-
- Responding in a timely and professional manner to time sensitive shipping requests
- Familiarising yourself with all special services we can offer to ensure customers are given all options available
- Establishing the best transport solution (Express, Hand carry or Road)
- Completing customs checks
- Taking booking details, arranging collections/deliveries
- Providing quotations and gaining 3rd party costings
- Tracing and tracking of all shipments and keeping customers up to date proactively (which includes flight and customs delays, proof of deliveries, charges, resolutions, etc)
- Demonstrating a "can do" attitude and show that you are prepared to go the extra mile for the customer
- Extensive experience within the Airfreight industry, specifically dealing with time sensitive shipments
- Outstanding customer service, influencing and consultative skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressured environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in English
- Confident in using computer applications
- Good at establishing working relationships and developing personal contacts
- Good analytical and commercial awareness
- Self-motivated with good judgement and decision making qualities
Experience Required:-
- Extensive experience within the Airfreight industry, specifically dealing with time sensitive shipments

Position is based on a Monday - Friday 06:30pm - 03:00am basis.
The position will be remote, once fully trained (2 - 3 months).
