We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Studies Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and committed to delivering high-quality teaching that inspires students to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Business Studies to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
  • Develop and adapt curricula to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring all students are supported to achieve their best.
  • Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and work, in line with the school's policies and ethos.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities, and contribute to extra-curricular activities as required.
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment that respects and promotes the diverse backgrounds of all students.
  • Engage parents and carers in students' academic progress and welfare.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Business Studies or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Business Studies at secondary school level (KS4 and KS5).
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum and exam specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Desirable:

  • Experience in teaching Economics or other related subjects.
  • A track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
